7/11- The small local grocery store, found ever couple of hundred yard, most places in Thailand

Chang- 'The' beer of Thailand, Chang is a strong, sharp and cheap larger- the APV percentage is not regulated and can be anything between 4% and 9%

Thinglish- A mixture of Thai and English...it's a language in itself!

Call to Prayer- In Muslim countries call to prayer rings out over the land for each of the five daily prayers.  The timings of these prayers are spaced fairly evenly throughout the day, so that one is constantly reminded of God and given opportunities to seek His guidance and forgiveness.
